ART RETREAT 2027

Something exciting is in the works — a week-long art retreat coming in the summer of 2027. Details are still taking shape, but the vision is clear: a small, intimate gathering of creatives in a beautiful setting, dedicated entirely to making art together.

Over the course of the week we'll explore sketchbook practice — both on location and in the studio — along with media exploration, creative tools, and personal roadmaps for developing your own artistic voice. The goal isn't perfection. It's discovery.

I believe deeply in the power of making art in community. There is something rare and wonderful about being in a room — or a landscape — with other creatives who understand the process: the uncertainty, the breakthroughs, the happy accidents. After years of teaching at the college level, I've seen firsthand how working alongside others can unlock incredibly unique creative approaches. It’s also fun and exciting to grow together!

This retreat will be kept intentionally small — just 10 participants — so that everyone has space to grow, experiment, and feel genuinely seen.

All levels of experience are welcome.
